Telehealth simply means we meet virtually via video chat or phone. The platform we use is called Simple Practice. It is a HIPAA compliant platform used to ensure confidentiality. The system will send you a unique link for each appointment ahead of time that you can open on your phone via the Simple Practice App or on your computer.
Yes! Currently we accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We are happy to run your insurance before booking to inform you of any co-pays you may owe.
Private pay sessions are $115.00 per session if you plan to pay out-of-pocket. Payment is due before session.
Since we are a virtual practice, we only accept virtual forms of payment at this time such as a debit or credit card.
We offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments. Please inquire about that at info@goodworkscounselor.com
Your first few counseling sessions are reserved for history gathering, building rapport, and helping your counselor understand what you hope to gain from the counseling process. This enables your counselor to build a custom treatment plan for you. Unsure what to talk about? Don’t worry! Our clinicians are skilled at facilitating conversation topics and guiding you in a general &/or specific direction if you need it.
Typically, we meet for 50-minute sessions.
